Lady Gasoline (2010)

About the album

Lady Gasoline is Chris Singleton's second album. Released in June 2010 through IRL (Damien Dempsey, The Wonderstuff, Royseven), the album received rave reviews from Music Week, Q Magazine, The Dubliner Magazine and was featured on BBC Breakfast. More 'powerpop' than Chris' first record, Twisted City, the album features musical contributions from Chris' live band, The Distractions: Andy Fleet, John Gibbons, Stelios Kalisperides, Zane Maertens and Ben Woollacott. Many 70s artists (especially glam-rock ones) influenced and inspired this album, with Chris tipping his musical hat to Lou Reed, David Bowie, The Sweet and T-Rex amongst others.
